LYNNWOOD — A pedestrian was killed Sunday after a vehicle hit her on Highway 99, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Around 6 a.m., a female was walking south in the left lane of Highway 99 at Shelby Road when she was struck by a vehicle also traveling southbound on Highway 99.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office was expected to identify the deceased, as well as determine the cause and manner of death.
The crash remains under investigation.
