EDMONDS — Police on Wednesday were searching for a missing Edmonds woman whose car was found abandoned two days earlier.
Amy Kennelly, 48, was reported missing by her family.
Her car was found late Monday night along Algonquin Road in Woodway. The car had damage from apparently striking a garage door. No other vehicles were believed to be involved.
They could not find Kennelly to determine if she had been driving the car or knew how it was damaged.
After Kennelly was reported missing Wednesday, police searched the area along Algonquin Road again. They found personal items in a nearby back yard that may belong to her, Edmonds police Sgt. Shane Hawley said. The search was ongoing after nightfall.
