SPOKANE — Police caught a robbery suspect after a chase that ended Thursday night near the Spokane airport.
Police said the 37-year-old used a can of tear gas spray to rob a hair salon in the South Hill. Employees took down her license number as she drove away.
Officers pulled the car over a short time later and the driver cooperated at first. Then she took off and led police on a chase along Interstate 90.
KXLY reported that the chase came to an end when police pushed her car into a guard rail. She told officers she was on her way to the airport to return her rental car.
