EVERETT — The northbound I-5 ramp to westbound Highway 526 (the Boeing freeway) will be closed overnights beginning Monday. The nightly ramp closures will continue through July 20.
The ramp will reopen in time for Boeing’s early shift each morning.
State crews will be replacing several expansion joints as part of a $4.5 million highway project.
From July 9 to 13 and July 16 to 20, the ramp will close nightly from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. On July 14 and 15, the ramp will close from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.
People planning to use the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry should use the northbound I-5 offramp to Highway 525 in Lynnwood.
Southbound I-5 traffic is not affected.
