SPOKANE — A record low of 33 degrees was recorded at Spokane International Airport early this morning.
That broke the old record of 35 set in 1975.
Cold temperatures were the norm across the Inland Northwest, which has been suffering a spell on unseasonable weather the past week.
Forecasters said Tuesday should bring mild and partly sunny weather with highs near 70. May has averaged 2.4 degrees below normal so far.
