SPOKANE — Two women were arrested for selling marijuana to a uniformed Spokane Transit Authority security officer.

Police say the 18- and 29-year-old approached officer Mike Hill Tuesday evening downtown and asked whether he could arrest people. He replied, only for certain crimes.

They then sold him a baggie of marijuana for $20. It turns out that’s one of the crimes that results in arrest.

He detained them and called Spokane police officers who took them to jail.
