SNOHOMISH — A 43-year-old man wanted on a felony warrant climbed up a tree in an attempt to hide from deputies.
Sheriff’s deputies first tried to arrest him around noon Wednesday in the 2500 block of Bickford Avenue. He resisted, and a deputy fired a stun gun, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The man, from Snohomish, ran into the woods. Deputies lost sight of him and sent out a police dog to track him.
By 12:30 p.m., deputies spotted him up a tree. After 30 minutes of negotiating, he climbed down and was taken into custody.
