A Marysville home was hit by two fires in the early hours of Thursday morning.

The Marysville Fire District responded to a call at the 500 block of 125 Place NW around 1 a.m. and had the fire under control in half an hour, officials said.

The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office determined the cause of the fire was a baseboard heater.

Another call came in for the same house about 5:30 a.m. Firefighters went back to find the house in flames. They again had the fire out in about 30 minutes.

The cause of the second blaze remains under investigation. Damage was estimated at $210,000.
