Our members of Congress introduced an energy bill earlier this year that inspired Washington’s communities’ optimism and trust in environmental protection leadership. H.R 763 is an energy bill that ensures that the aerospace and aviation sectors experience a fluid transition to green technologies. This initiative is a chain of more crucial avenues to end fossil fuel energy dependency. Vehicles are not the only modes of travel needing re-envisioning for sustainable transportation modes and how we travel by air. The National Evaluation of Aviation and Aerospace Solutions to Climate Change Act commands a partnership with the National Academy of Sciences to monitor greenhouse gas emissions and processes permitting carbon output. Where technological gaps exist, creating green legislations can fill in the gaps where emissions escape technological processes.
This dividend bill is spearheading the colossal initiative to add environmental principles and practices to the airspace sectors. The bill developed this bill as a broader effort to invest in green infrastructure for critical operations in our society.
Rep. Larsen’s signature to this bill signifies intent to bring Washington state closer to reducing emissions by 2050. This bill prioritizes the Everett community’s safety and welfare for the foreseeable impending climate crisis and takes positive steps towards mitigation. Carbon fees incentivize the shift away from fossil industry production and consumption onto innovation and ingenuity. The bill demands innovating solutions away from fossil fuel energy and intends to reach that outcome. Thanks for prioritizing our communities’ needs to safeguard future generations’ environmental sustainability.
