How else would you clean a flying saucer but with a flying dishwasher?

Dishwashers of the Gods: We now know what it was that fell from the sky and struck a Mountlake Terrace residence, baffling the residents and Paine Field staff. Although how it wound up on the roof of two-story home isn’t clear, the metal sheet appears to be the front panel from a dishwasher, possibly a Kenmore or Whirlpool.

We’re thinking it’s a Kenmore, as Whirlpool won’t send repair crews to the fourth planet of Omnichron 6.

Youth will be served, along with big fat pitches: The new manager for the Seattle Mariners, Eric Wedge, notes that his club will have to depend on several young players with little major league experience. “I’ve had young clubs before,” Wedge told The Herald’s Kirby Arnold.

Wedge said his coaching staff will be able to give the young players they help they need, especially when their math homework stumps them.

Don’t let us stop you: Libya’s besieged Moammar Gadhafi vowed to fight to his “last drop of blood” and die a martyr as protestors and defecting military units have taken control of the country’s eastern half.

While he’s still in the news, The Buzz would like to note that ABC News has posted a list of the 112 ways of spelling the dictator’s name, 113 if you count “toast.”
