Monroe School Board: Ryan knows what schools need

I write to extend my enthusiastic support for Melanie Ryan’s candidacy for the Monroe School Board. Her steadfast commitment to inclusivity and her ability to transform ideas into tangible actions are nothing short of inspiring. She has consistently championed inclusive environments and advocated for equity, leaving an indelible mark on our community.

A resident of Monroe for nearly two decades, Ryan’s roots in our town run deep. While her children attended Monroe schools, their experiences underscore the pressing need for improvements in our educational system. Her firsthand knowledge of the challenges faced by students and families equips her with a distinct and intimate understanding of our district’s needs.

Ryan’s call for honesty, integrity, transparency, and accountability on the school board is a welcome breath of fresh air. She keenly recognizes the pressing need to update the district’s strategic plan, which has been overlooked for far too long.

She astutely notes, “We can do so many things better.” Her unwavering commitment to positive change is palpable. Her experience managing multi-billion-dollar budgets serves as a testament to her ability to provide sound governance.

As the CEO of her own company, Ryan empowers organizations and communities to cultivate equitable, impactful, and lasting cultural transformations.

She is a candidate who not only articulates a vision but takes concrete steps to enact it. I wholeheartedly endorse her candidacy and encourage fellow community members to vote Melanie Ryan for School Board Position 2.
