Noise makes dull game unbearable

I do not like soccer. Never have. Never will. But in the interest of open-mindedness I decided to watch the U.S.A.-England match since it was for the Big Deal Wowie World Cup.

I don’t know who is in charge of the audio, or why the sound of an amplified hornets’ nest did not cease (or whatever it was), but I could only take about five minutes of the whole thing. So much for the Great International “Sport.” Maybe everybody wears earplugs, or is deaf, in South Africa. The whole thing was a joke.
