Plan will end up costing taxpayers

The president’s action to allow illegal aliens to register and receive Social Security numbers and thus pay taxes will have some consequences that have not been mentioned by the media as of now. The tax code has a provision for low-income workers to receive money back even if they owe no taxes. It’s called the Earned Income Credit and provides for credits for both the taxpayers and their children paid for by the legal residents of this country.

Since many in this category have large families this will result in adding to our government’s deficit as his unilateral action does not provide a revenue source to cover such expenditure.
