Republicans need to ditch MAGA movement

Winston Churchill once said, “Russia is a country with an unpredictable past,” referencing that country’s history being reimagined each time a new leader sat in.

That mantra is strangely the premise behind the MAGA movement; reimagining history, news and laws. Blinded by the light of a cult of personality, they don’t seem to be aware of the damage to our reputation, credibility and democracy. Frankly, there is nothing patriotic or American about MAGA. They are part-time patriots waving flags printed in China.

It’s why Biden won the last election and why he is likely to win again. If the Republican Party wants the Oval Office back they need to stand behind an adult in the room, not the class clown.
