My wife and I and a very good friend wanted Chinese food on Saturday, June 14. We called the Beijing Garden on Rucker and got no answer. I thought that was a bit strange. I went to the restaurant and the sign on the door said they were closed that day. We ended up getting some other food that night.
In these times of stress, road rage, and such, common courtesy is the first to be forgotten.
The next morning, on Father’s Day no doubt, the owner of Bejing’s called me to apologize for not being open to serve us. They were closed so the whole family could attend their daughter’s graduation from high school. It is something the whole world could learn from, their dedication to family is awesome, their desire to be the best to their customers is truly world class.
Thank you to the staff of Beijing’s for bringing such class and compassion to Everett!
