Sid Schwab is wrong about conservative beliefs

Why in the world do you put Sid Schwab’s articles front and center on your Forum page?

He, like many liberals, shows his contempt for half of his fellow Americans — accusing them of not wanting a “highly intelligent black guy” for president, that we are “a-tingle over children being taken away from families,” that we “refuse to serve gays and bully people speaking a foreign language” among many other evil things.

I’m surprised he didn’t add that we want to throw Grandma off the cliff. The truth is us conservatives would love to have a highly intelligent, conservative black man, and/or a highly intelligent, conservative woman for president someday — and I believe that will happen. The majority of supporters of black conservatives are white conservatives — because we don’t look at the color of skin or gender, we look at the content of character and what they believe.

We also are not ever “a-tingle” over children being hurt in any way! Does that mean we should put feelings above the law? No, we conservatives believe that we are a country of laws, and we also believe in lawful immigration. Conservatives also believe in freedom of speech and freedom of religion.

We don’t believe a person’s right to have an artful design overrules another person’s right of free speech and freedom of religion. The reason most conservatives support Trump is because he believes our country is “for the people, by the people,” and he is successfully doing that, which is making America great again.
