I would be intrigued to know just how many voters who say they are basing their decision on law and order are themselves among those who see no point in observing basic traffic laws, and who are followers of one of the most criminally inclined men to have ever held the office of U.S. president.
They only seem to be galled by crime that affects them in their neighborhoods while seeming to excuse their own of any wrongdoing. One just has to get out and drive any day to experience “The rule of the scofflaws.” If anything Trump, et al, have shown their followers that hypocrisy pays.
