Those who cast protest votes ignored big picture

How about this one? Bernie Sanders supporters (nearly 3 to 1 over Hillary Clinton in Washington) could have swung the election in Hillary’s favor assuming Bernie had at least one-third support of all Democrats. He had more. Did they vote for Hillary? No 5 to 10 percent voted for independents around the country. That’s nearly 3 to 6 million votes. A few votes more in Pennsylvania, Florida or Ohio might have made it happen. So be careful what you wish for. Winning is not the game. Shared benefits and bounty is much better. I surely hope we can continue down that path as a nation.
