Too many in county are unvaccinated to end mask use

A few thoughts on removing the mask mandates (“Cued by CDC, Inslee moves up end of mask mandate to March 12,” The Herald, Feb. 28).

The following information is from The Herald’s covid-19 Snapshot of Feb. 24.

The county population is 827,957, of which 68.5 percent are fully vaccinated and 31.5 percent are not vaccinated.

Given an average distribution of people, out of 100 people, 31 are not vaccinated; out of 10 people three are not vaccinated

That is a lot of not-caring people potentially spreading covid-19. Please keep your mask on to keep everyone safe.
