What about Somers’ biggest contributor?

I am writing in response to your endorsement of Dave Somers. Frankly, I am disappointed at the editorial board’s lack of memory and research into Dave Somers’ current employer.
Your endorsement led with “Sax is backed by big campaign contributions from developers” and you failed to point out that Somers’s largest campaign contributor and current employer is the largest developer in Snohomish County – the Tulalip Tribes.
The voters, on the other hand, were led down a path and clear agenda by the editorial board. As a citizen who has lived in Snohomish County my entire adult life, I am supporting Jeff Sax, not because I like him or his political views. I am supporting Jeff Sax for one reason – the big development money backing him will pay mitigation and impact fees to Snohomish County, unlike the even bigger developer backing Somers, his employer the Tulalip Tribes.
Follow the money in Dave Somers’ campaign and you will find the Tulalip Tribes. If elected, the Tulalip Tribes have a seat on the County Council. I am beginning to believe the tribes have bought a seat on the editorial board as well.
