BOYS BASKETBALL

Wesco 3A/2A

Snohomish 77, Marysville Pilchuck 57

SNOHOMISH — The Panthers ran past the Tomahawks in a Wesco 3A/2A matchup.

Jason Roth put up a game-high 21 points for Snohomish (5-10 overall, 2-8 league), Hudson Capelli added 13 and Drew Davis and Drew Hanson each contributed 12.

Davien Parks led Marysville Pilchuck (2-13 overall, 1-9 league) with 14 points.

Stanwood 56, Meadowdale 49

LYNNWOOD — The Spartans’ clutch six free throws in the final minute of the game gave them a win over the Mavericks in a Wesco 3A/2A matchup.

Max Mayo scored a game-high 17 points and recorded six assists and three steals for Stanwood (5-7 overall, 5-5 league). Cole Williams (13) and John Floyd (10) combined for 23 points.

For Meadowdale (6-9 overall, 3-7 league), Natnael Ghirmay put up 17 points, and Jaymon Wright chipped in 13.

Northwest Conference

Lakewood 65, Bellingham 55

BELLINGHAM — The Cougars downed the Bayhawks in a conference matchup.

Caleb Greenland poured in a game-high 24 points, and Benjamin Rucker added 17 for Lakewood (9-6 overall, 6-4 league).

Joe Harward led Bellingham (8-7 overall, 6-4 league) with 17 points.

Non-league

Glacier Peak 70, Lincoln (Seattle) 46

SNOHOMISH — The Grizzlies put up more than 20 points in both the first and fourth quarters as they ran past the Lynx in a non-league game.

Josiah Lee scored a game-high 23 points for Glacier Peak (14-1 overall, 3-1 league), and Zach Albright added 17 and Isaiah Cuellar-Bell 16.

Hugo Henrikson carried Lincoln (Seattle) (3-11 overall, 2-7 league) with 19 points.

Eastlake 57, Lynnwood 55

RENTON — The Wolves’ 16-point lead in the second half, which was the largest spread of the game, dwindled as they still pulled out a win over the Royals in a non-league matchup.

Kaleb Dehaan led Eastlake (2-9 overall, 1-8 league) with 17 points, and Colin Cajias, Gabriel Prock and Kelyan Wandji each chipped in 11.

For Lynnwood (0-14 overall, 0-9 league), Richard Choy put up 18 points and was 4-5 in 3-pointers.

Lake Stevens 70, Mariner 20

LAKE STEVENS — The Vikings toppled the Marauders in a Wesco 4A matchup to continue their nine-game win streak.

Noelani Tupua led Lake Stevens (11-2 overall, 4-0 league) with a game-high 15 points. Keira Tupua and Nisa Ellis each added 11 points, and Griffyn Eyman chipped in 10.

Kyairra Roussin, Jordan Johnson and La’shia McClellan each scored five points for Mariner (1-11 overall, 0-4 league).

Wesco 3A/2A

Arlington 62, Edmonds-Woodway 40

ARLINGTON — The Eagles flew past the Warriors in a Wesco 3A/2A matchup to continue their seven-game win streak.

Samara Morrow put up a game-high 13 points for Arlington (13-2 overall, 7-1 league), despite being held to only two points in the first half. Kierra Reese added 11 points, and Katie Snow chipped in nine.

Natalie Durbin paced Edmonds-Woodway (5-10 overall, 2-7 league) with 21 points, and Finley Wichers contributed 14.

Lakewood 63, Bellingham 41

ARLINGTON — The Cougars dominated the Bayhawks in a conference matchup.

Karly Stewart poured in a game-high 20 points and carded seven steals and three assists for Lakewood (6-6 overall, 4-6 league). Krystle Raymond added 16 points and carded seven steals, Leiana Riveira contributed seven points and tallied four steals and Aliana Jones earned five rebounds.

Bellingham falls to 2-12 overall and 0-10 in league play.

Non-league

Glacier Peak 46, Lincoln (Seattle) 43

SNOHOMISH — The Grizzlies narrowly topped the Lynx in a non-league game.

Zoey Ritter tallied a game-high 16 points, and Kate Fowler added nine and Peyton Chin eight for Glacier Peak (9-5 overall, 2-2 league).

The Grizzlies led by two points heading into the fourth quarter where they then put up 14 to the Lynx’s 13.

Natalie Kelly paced Lincoln (Seattle) (8-6 overall, 8-1 league) with 15 points.

Shorewood 66, Cascade (Everett) 12

EVERETT — The Stormrays blew past the Bruins in a non-league game.

Bridget Cox scored 14 points and Kate Evans contributed 13 for Shorewood (6-7 overall, 3-5 league).

Sally Sylla led Cascade (Everett) (4-7 overall, 0-0 league) with seven points.
