Silvertips rebound from loss, rout Chiefs

Three different players score twice and Everett outshoots Spokane 63-20 in a 9-2 win.

EVERETT — Jackson Berezowski, Niko Huuhtanen and Hunter Campbell each scored twice as the Everett Silvertips rebounded from their first regulation loss of the season to rout the Spokane Chiefs 9-2 on Wednesday night at Angel of the Winds Arena.

Olen Zellweger, Jacob Wright and Alex Swetlikoff also scored for Everett, which outshot Spokane 63-20 in the game. The Silvertips scored three times in the first period, twice in the second and four times in the third in the emphatic win.

Wright, Berezowski, Zellweger, Swetlikoff and Michal Gut each had two assists in the game.

Koen MacInnes stopped 18 of 20 shots in goal for Everett (17-1-1-1).

Manny Panghli stopped 40 of 49 shots, and Mason Beaupit saved 14 of 14 for Spokane (5-11-2-1).
