Prep football: Lake Stevens 49, Mount Vernon 0

LAKE STEVENS — Andrew Grimes rushed for 186 yards and four touchdowns on nine carries to lead Lake Stevens to a Wesco 4A victory Friday night over Mount Vernon.

Quarterback Jacob Eason was 14-for-18 with 245 yards and two TDs for the Vikings. One of those touchdowns was a 54-yard strike to receiver Hunter Eckstrom, who finished with five catches for 115 yards.

The Viking defense held Mount Vernon to 79 yards of total offense.
