EVERETT — Human remains were found in a strip of woods Friday between the Frontier Building and the Evergreen Cemetery.
The discovery of a body was reported secondhand to police around 1 p.m. near the 1800 block of 41st Street, Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.
Officers arrived to find a deceased person. Police declined to release any details as of Friday evening, except that they were investigating.
For hours, Everett patrol cars blocked a street behind the Frontier Building.
The building has offices for Frontier Communications, the Everett Clinic and The Daily Herald. To the east of the complex, over a steep brushy hill, is the cemetery that is known for Rucker tomb.
