STANWOOD — Police are asking for help identifying a serial armed robber.

The man has hit “numerous businesses and banks” in Stanwood and surrounding areas in recent weeks, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. A new surveillance photo was released late Friday, in hopes of generating tips.

The man is known to wear a dark hooded jacket, a blue Seahawks cap and glasses. He may wear an earpiece in his left ear, likely for monitoring police radio traffic.

Anyone who sees him should call 911. Others with potential information about the case are asked to call 425-388-5293.
