LYNNWOOD — The victims of a home burglary in which the thieves got away with $100,000 in cash are offering a reward of up to $10,000.
Burglars broke into a north Lynnwood home Monday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and stole jewelry, collectible coins, electronics and a medium-sized safe that contained the cash, police spokeswoman Trudy Dana said Tuesday. The homeowner had planned to use the cash to finance a small business.
The victims are offering a cash reward of 10 percent of the money recovered, which could be up to $10,000, for information that leads to recovery of the money and property, and successful prosecution of the criminals, Dana said.
Anyone with information on the burglary should call Lynnwood Police Detective Wes Burns at 425-744-6920 or 425-744-6900.
