Seattle Prep prevails despite 18 points by Lynnwood guard

LYNNWOOD – Lynnwood’s Robert Johnson led all scorer’s with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough to stop Seattle Prep from posting a 65-41 non-league victory Friday at the Lynnwood gym.
The senior guard scored in all four periods and was 4-for-5 from the free-throw line.

Meridian 68, Sultan 47: Meridian’s Cameron Gilmore and Jeff DeVries posted six and eight points, respectively, in Meridian’s runaway 23-point second quarter. Gilmore totaled 21 points and DeVries accumulated 15. Sultan’s Bryson Agnew scored 15 points for a team-high finish in the North Cascades Conference contest.

Christian Faith 51, Snohomish County Christian 43: Joey Bianco scored all six of his points with three straight baskets to begin the second half as Christian Faith pulled away from a 22-22 tie. Christian Faith made seven of 12 free throws in the fourth quarter to seal the outcome.
