Boys and Girls Club honors volunteers and youths tonight

The Snohomish County Boys and Girls Club will have its annual dinner and awards banquet at 6 p.m. today at its club in Snohomish, 402 Second St.

Those who will be honored include:

Board recognition: Jim Morino, immediate past president; Doug Dewar, board term expired, becoming a trustee; Jim Morino, board term expired, becoming a trustee; Ryan Haines, new board member.

Second-term board members: Mark Duffy, Dan Gaffney, Lori Husa, Paul Kniest, Carol Nelson, Matt Newland and Rolly Radwick.

2004 board officers: Jim Morino, immediate past president; Tom Lane, president; Tom Hoban, vice president; Lori Husa, secretary and treasurer.

Special donor awards: Anthony’s Restaurants, Herb Gould; Bank of America, Angus Tucker; Boeing, Tim Nowlis; City of Everett, Ross Johnson; Fluke, Pete Baffaro; K&H Integrated Print Solutions, Dick Haines; Pepsi, Rick Grounds; Snohomish County grants administration, Thomas Jerrard and Sue Tracy; Tulalip Tribes, Herman Williams Jr.

Special recognition: Tom Gaffney and Larry Hanson, co-chairmen of the capital campaign; Hank Robinett and Rich Boyden, co-chairmen of the Snohomish steering committee; Jan Larson and Jim Mitchell, co-chairmen of the Lake Stevens steering committee.

Campaign cabinet: Tom Collins, Tim Nowlis and Carol Nelson.
