747 Advanced

Boeing marketing chief Randy Baseler talked up the proposed 747 Advanced on his Web log the other day. There’s a good bit of speculation as to what will happen with this for-now-on-paper airplane. All I know for sure is when in-the-know Boeing folks start asking ME what I’ve heard, well, things must REALLY be up in the air. But reading between the lines, it seems that Longacres is working hard to get both Chicago, and some airlines, to buy the new bird.
