Boeing plans third-generation 737

That’s what senior marketing VP Randy Baseler said in Europe, according to Agence France-Presse. The scuttlebutt I’ve heard says that a 737 replacement, using 787 technology, is penciled into Boeing’s plans after the 747 Advanced, which means sometime in the 2012 to 2015 time frame.
