Officials with Air India sound like they’re getting tired of responding to Airbus accusations that Boeing’s recent sale of 777s and 787s to the airline was unfair. (And, to be honest, I’m getting tired of the topic too.)
The spokesman for the airline also made a point of denying there was any government pressure on it to buy Boeing.
Key quote: “It is our prerogative to decide what we need, not for the seller to dictate.” Or, in American English — the customer is always right, and we’re the customer.
