The Indian government has rejected Airbus’ call for an investigation into the bidding that led to Air India ordering Boeing 777s and 787s recently, which, I really really hope, finally puts the issue to bed. This he-said, they-said thing is getting old.
Anyway, the key quote from government aviation minister Praful Patel: “The allegations… made by Airbus regarding A-I’s selection of Boeing aircraft for purchase are baseless and not based on facts.”
