Boeing moves slowly on CEO search

They’re moving about as slowly as traffic coming into Everett from Marysville this morning, in fact (and if you, like me, got caught in that mess, you know exactly how slow that is).
Anyway, the L.A. Times today provided an update on the CEO search. Two pieces of news here:
1) Some are speculating Boeing might take another six months to look at candidates; and
2) Interim CEO James Bell might just be a candidate after all.
Key quote: “In recent weeks some investors and company employees have been privately rooting for Bell, and have told (Boeing chairman Lew) Platt that Bell should be a candidate.”
