RJ builders try to draw attention in Paris

Sukhoi’s saying it will have 200 orders for its Russian Regional Jet by year’s end. That would be big news across the river in Marysville, where Flight Structures Inc. is doing the interiors for the new RRJ.

They’re not the only ones making noise in Paris, however. Key Quote: “At the Paris Air Show this week, Brazil’s Embraer is flying its newest and biggest plane, the 108-seat 195 model, while Canada’s Bombardier is talking to customers about something even bigger.”

Another Snohomish County company, Northwest Composites, is providing the interiors on the new Embraer jet.
