Canada sale

Not sure why this didn’t get in the paper today, but, as you’ve probably heard, Boeing sold a Canadian fabrication plant yesterday.

From the Ottawa Sun. Key Quote: “The new owners of Arnprior’s Boeing plant may double the size of the facility’s workforce over the next few years, a union official told the Sun.”

From the London Free Press (that’s London, Ontario, in Canada). Key Quote: “The Arnprior site supplies precision-machined parts, including electronic shelves for ‘black boxes,’ cockpit flight recorders in commercial aircraft, and sheet-metal subassemblies.”
