Mulally on 747 Advanced and other topics

… the Malaysian national news agency, Bernama, had a reporter here recently for a meeting with Boeing’s Commercial commander in chief Alan Mulally, who talked about a whole lot of topics http://www.bernama.com.my/bernama/v3/news_business.php?id=163785 , the most interesting to me being:

Key Quote: “Boeing is presently working on an advanced version of the 747, which can transport 450 to 460 passengers. ‘We are talking to several launch customers right now. We’ll probably launch it with a couple of customers before the end of this year,’ said Mullaly.”
