State ferry fare increases to affect three area routes

State ferry rates are scheduled to increase by 6 percent on May 1, coinciding with the beginning of the summer travel season.

Keystone-Port Townsend

Car and driver: $8.70, up 50 cents.

Passenger: $2.50, up 15 cents.

Car and driver ticket book: $139.20, up $8.

Monthly pass: $64, up $2.80.

Edmonds-Kingston

Car and driver: $14.10, up 80 cents.

Passenger: $6.50, up 40 cents.

Car and driver ticket book: $180 for 20 tickets, up $10.40.

Monthly passenger pass: $83.20, up $4.10.

Mukilteo-Clinton

Car and driver: $6.65, up 35 cents.

Passenger: $3.85, up 25 cents.

Car and driver ticket book: $106.40, up $5.60.

Monthly passenger pass: $49.30, up $2.20.
