The Times of London takes Airbus and EADS management to task in this column by Toby Moore. http://travel.timesonline.co.uk/article/0,,10295-2294212,00.html

Moore quotes analyst David Kaminski-Morrow. His take …

Key Quote: “‘The A380 was a flagship project. This was the aeroplane that really was going to establish Airbus as an alternative to Boeing, which has always had a flagship aircraft with the 747. It was a chance for Europe to step up to the plate. There was just enormous pressure, and it came under a lot of scrutiny, to come in on time and just over-reached itself, became overambitious and didn’t build in enough margin for errors.’”
