Boeing to make special 787 announcment this morning

The Boeing Co. has news about its Dreamliner jet.

Mike Bair, vice president of the 787 program, will make a brief announcment at 10 a.m. in Everett, where final assembly of the Dreamliner will take place.

The 787 is approaching several important milestones: the first delivery of Dreamliner parts to Everett and reaching the 500-order mark.
