Tips lose standing…..sort of

Well, Everett no longer has the rest of the league beat, at least in one regard. Thanks in large part to the game-ending fracas from Game 5 of the first-round series between Vancouver and Chilliwack, which prevented the teams from participating in the traditional series-ending handshake, the Tips no longer lead the rest of the league combined in terms of fines this season. Both Vancouver and Chilliwack were fined $2,500 by the league, pulling the rest of the league ahead of an Everett team that had the rest of the field lapped. The current tally: rest of league $14,750, Everett $11,250. However, Vancouver ($5,000 total) still has a long ways to go to catch Everett in the single-team category.
