Boeing dedicates Web page to Everett factory’s 40th anniversary

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of its Everett factory, Boeing has created a page on its Web site dedicated to the widebody aircraft manufacturing plant. The page features an interactive timeline, history of Boeing and Everett and a calendar of anniversary-related events this year. You also can share your story about Boeing online.

Forty years ago today, Boeing officially opened the Everett factory. The company began sending workers to the unfinished factory in Everett on Jan. 3, 1967.
