Chile’s LAN Airline plans to pick up 32 Dreamliners, the carrier announced Friday.
LAN will buy 26 Boeing 787s from the planemaker and get another six through a leasing company.
Forbes reports that LAN’s board also approved purchase rights for another 10 Dreamliners to be delivered in 2017 and 2018.
The deal with Boeing has not been finalized, according to a release on Boeing’s Web site. However, the manufacturer noted, once completed, the order would be its largest from a South American carrier for 787s to date.
