A public forum for candidates running for Snohomish County Sheriff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Olympic Place Retirement and Assisted Living, 20909 Olympic Place NE, Arlington.
Sheriff’s Lt. Rob Beidler; Sheriff’s Bureau Chief Tom Greene; and state Rep. John Lovick, a retired Washington State Patrol trooper, face off in the primary election on Aug. 21. Ballots were mailed to voters last week.
The two candidates who receive the most votes move on to the November general election.
Candidates’ fair in Edmonds Thursday
Snohomish County’s League of Women Voters plans to host a candidates’ fair Thursday.
Candidates for county positions and those running for Edmonds City Council, Edmonds School Board and Stevens Hospital Board, will be on hand to answer questions and meet the public.
The candidate fair is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. at the Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers St., Edmonds.
