Here’s how some of your taxes were spent during recent city council actions:
Arlington: $3,310 to Slumber Ease Mattress Factory of Marysville for six mattresses for firefighters.
$37,263 to Northwest Playground Equipment, Inc. of Issaquah for a new play structure at Jensen Park.
Everett: $406,775 to Pacific Crest Construction of Lynnwood to construct a hypochlorite storage building at the city’s water plant near Spada Reservoir.
$24,458 to Tank Industry Consultants of Indianapolis for consulting work for a new water tower on Casino Road.
$14,226 to HS Wold Co. of Everett for graffiti removal at Walter E. Hall skate park and Thornton A. Sullivan Park.
Lynnwood: $84,000 to NAC/Architecture of Spokane for updating the Lynnwood Community Center and Recreation Center Renovation Feasibility Study.
$274,380 to Crest Northwest Construction of Marysville to renovate the water tower at Heritage Park.
Monroe: $1,655 to Fire District 3 of Monroe for vehicle maintenance.
$2,552 to Clowns Unlimited, Inc. of Portland, Ore., for National Night Out supplies. The event promotes public safety in communities.
$1,501 to Kesselring’s Gun Shop of Burlington for training ammunition.
Mountlake Terrace: $47,930 for a two-year agreement with the Edmonds School District for the Mountlake Terrace Police Department to provide a school resource officer. The school district will pay half of the officer’s base wage and benefits during the school year.
Snohomish: $721 to the city of Everett for water testing fees.
$100 to DataQuest of Everett for pre-employment background checking.
$510 to All Seasons Storage of Lake Stevens for storage of seized vehicles.
