Stanwood: Mayor asks for requests

Mayor Dianne White is asking citizens with ideas on how to spend city money and groups that want funds next year for events or projects, to make their requests now.

Planning for the 2008 budget is under way, and funding requests are best handled now, she said.

“January is not the time to tell us,” White said. “Now is the time to tell us.”
