Here’s how some of your tax money was spent in recent city council action:

Marysville: $44,077 to Tyler Technologies, Inc. of Dallas, Texas, for one year of support for the city’s financial software program.

$40,000 to Blue Marble Environmental LLC to help the city start a food-waste composting program for businesses.

$24,085 in hotel-motel tax grant money to community organizations for tourism and business promotion.

Monroe: $3,258 to Okanogan County jail for July jail billing.

$15,146 to SNOPAC, an emergency dispatch center, for September dispatch services.

$336 to Puget Sound Energy for natural gas.

Mukilteo: $853 to Coastwide Laboratories of Wilsonville, Ore., for cleaning supplies.

$1,096 to Life Assist Inc. of Rancho Cordova, Calif., for emergency medical services supplies.

Snohomish: $1,000 to the Snohomish Senior Center for monthly operation fee.

$599 to the Seattle Police Department for a ballistic vest.

$1,418 to Steward and Associates of Snohomish for a critical-area environmental review.
