Navy Seaman Recruit Michael Testa, son of Agnes and Michael Testa of Oak Harbor, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Testa is a 2007 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Army Pvt. Ryan A. Yates has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the brother of Misty Yates of Oak Harbor and the grandson of Alan Yates of Missoula, Mont.

Army Reserve Pvt. Daniel T. Dellinger has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Dellinger is the son of Debby Jemeyson of Arlington and David Dellinger of Anchorage.

Army Pvt. Jeffrey J. Charlton has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Craig Charlton of Snohomish.

Army Pvt. Ryan M. Salvat has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Alfred Salvat of Everett.
