Open house Sunday for fire chief

An open house honoring Arlington Heights fire chief Lon Langdon, 66, is planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Arlington Heights Fire Station, 12131 228th St. NE, near Arlington.

Langdon, 66, has spent 30 years as a volunteer firefighter.
