ARLINGTON — A father and his 21-year-old son were arrested Tuesday after allegedly attacking a man with a claw hammer in Arlington.

Arlington police believe the assault stems from an ongoing property dispute.

The 22-year-old victim was bleeding from a head wound, other facial cuts and broken teeth when police arrived, shortly after the 5:45 p.m. attack. He was taken by ambulance to Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington for further treatment.

The attack occurred in the 20500 block of Olympic Place.

Police arrested the father, 48, and his son at their home soon after the attack. They were being held for investigation of second-degree assault.
