Wonder what’s happening at the Dubai Air Show?

Visit Airbus’s Web site for live updates from the industry gathering in the United Arab Emirates. Download the Airbus Widget, and perhaps you’ll be one of the first to find out whether the European plane maker has bagged the much anticipated $20 billion order from Emirates.

On Friday, a report indicated Emirates will order 50 Airbus A350s over Boeing’s 787s. That’s down from the hyped up 100 jet order the airline mentioned previously.

Boeing believes it will win at least 150 orders from Middle Eastern airlines by year’s end, including whatever orders it wins in Dubai. At the end of September (which is the last time Airbus updated its orders tally), Boeing still led its rival in commercial jet orders thus far.
